One of the world’s largest exhibitions for the medical and life science industries will be the venue for SMC, manufacturer of fluid control technology – to preview two new-to-market products. Medica 2014 will welcome visitors from all over the world at the Dusseldorf-messe from 12 – 15 November.
A brand new addition to complement SMC’s existing valve portfolio, the compact design of the VXB angle-seat valve allows for ease of implementation but without compromising on flow rate. The VXB is suitable for use with air, steam or water and is available in stainless steel or bronze. A durable FKM fluororubber seal provides excellent temperature and heat resistance.
Critical temperature control is provided by SMC’s HECR compact thermo-chiller. Providing high accuracy temperature control, this quiet and energy-efficient chiller is designed to be mounted in a 19 inch rack but can also be positioned independently. Up to 200W of cooling capacity is supplied by this thermo-con, with the launch of a 1kW range extension imminent.
