Speciality maltodextrins

PASELLI WFR is being highlighted as part of Avebe Food Starches' growing range of speciality maltodextrins.

This product is already showing its value within the dairy segment with enhanced mouthfeel and fat mimetic properties which are combined with improved usage levels. This means that PASELLIWFR is suitable for a whole range of dairy applications from ready to serve desserts and yoghurts through to cheese products. The improved usage levels is also resulting in improve costs for functionality in dairy applications.

Avebe is also introducing its range of FARINEXT400 series tapioca starches. These combine the clean non-flavour masking taste with glossy appearance and full bodied creamy mouthfeel. With all the advantages of the smooth and glossy waxy-maize starch the FARINEXT400 series makes them suitable for the delicate flavour profiles of dairy desserts. It has augmented its range with FARINEXWM60Y, a starch designed for yoghurt applications.

PERFECTAMYLMPT is finding new applications in imitation cheese products. This starch is showing many usage and performance advantages over more traditional gelling systems.
