Targeted at high throughput organic synthesis and purification laboratories in the pharmaceutical industry and contract research companies worldwide sales of Genevac's HT-24 Evaporation Workstation have exceeded expectations, the company says.
For the company, Steve Knight said: “The early users of the HT-24 have openly welcomed the high capacity, excellent performance and operational flexibility the system has delivered.“
The high-throughput design of the HT-24 provides capacity for up to 96 shallow-well microplates to be dried down at the same time, whilst capacity for standard
16 x 100mm fraction collector tubes is an outstanding 576 tubes per run.
Using the HT-24 a chemist is able to evaporate two different solvents simultaneously, significantly speeding sample drying in busy laboratories.
Compact in design, it offers a very high capacity for a wide range of sample formats including microplates, tubes, vials and fraction collector racks.
