Genevac, part of SP Scientific, has appointed BioPharma Process Systems (BPS) as exclusive UK distributor for its range of evaporator systems.
BPS has successfully distributed SP Scientific's Virtis and FTS freeze-drying products for over 20 years. Ian Bailey, who has been Genevac senior sales executive in the UK for more than 10 years, will be transferring to BPS, taking his many years’ experience with him to his new role.
Alison Wake from Genevac commented, "This move will consolidate our sales channels within the UK with one experienced and successful distributor whilst maintaining the personalised product support customers have come to expect from Genevac. Ian Bailey will join a BPS UK salesforce of four, led by Peter Williams and covering the whole of the UK from their Winchester base. We are looking forward to working with BPS to further improve the UK sales support for the SP Scientific range and in particular the Genevac line.”
Application support, whilst now available from BPS, will continue to be provided by Genevac. Service support will also continue to be provided by Genevac from its Ipswich headquarters.
