The new Techne “Prime” Series of thermal cyclers from Bibby Scientific – with a Universally attractive look and feel – include networkable, high throughput 384-well cyclers, full size 96-well cyclers, mid-size 48-well cyclers and personal 24-well cyclers. All feature colour touchscreens, identical software and transferable programmes.
3Prime
- 3Prime thermal cycler is the most versatile personal cycler available. It incorporates a touchscreen interface and intuitive software only previously available on full size models, whilst retaining the small footprint that makes it perfect for teaching and small laboratories.
- 3PrimeX thermal cycler offers all the capabilities of the 3Prime system but with double the sample capacity to handle 48x0.2ml and 30x0.5ml tubes. A simple unlock code adds gradient cycling.
- 3PrimeG is a personal gradient thermal cycler that extends the capabilities of the 3PrimeX. The system features a 48-well block with eight columns for optimising annealing temperature.
Prime
- Prime is a full size thermal cycler featuring user-friendly software and a touchscreen interface. The system offers high-throughput and high performance to maximise flexibility. A simple unlock code adds gradient cycling functionality.
- PrimeG gradient enabled thermal cycler offers all the capabilities of Prime with added temperature gradient. The system supports a broad temperature gradient of 29ºC.
Prime Elite
- Prime Elite thermal cycler offers high performance and networking capabilities. Features fast 5oC/sec ramping, large colour touchscreen, pioneering front-loading PCR plate drawer, thermal energy recovery system and non-motorized automatic heated lid.
- Prime Elite Satellites can be added in an innovative, stackable, space-saving design to form a double, triple or quad PCR network. A four block system requires only 56cm of bench space. Satellites can be operated from Prime Elite or via a PC.
