250 exhibitors, 150 speakers, and more than 30 workshops & events: the objectives set for
the World Medtech Forum Lucerne 2012 have been met. The success story will continue in
2013.
250 suppliers from all over the world will attend the trade fair, ensuring the first World Medtech Forum
Lucerne (WMTF) will offer attractive events for every interest in a first-class exhibition. With this
approach, the WMTF is bringing a new and unique quality to the medtech branch. A brief look at the
large number of congress registrations reveals that decision-makers from the most important medical
technology companies around the globe will be attending in person.
As planned, industry leaders along the entire value chain have found their own place at the WMTF and will be putting on exciting and
interesting events at different platforms, including the Center of Attention, Speakers Corner, Swiss
Lounge etc. At the conference, top-class speakers will focus on developments in relevant global medical
technology markets, and provide support for decision-making on export projects.
The founders of the World Medtech Forum Lucerne do not seek to compete with other medtech trade
fairs, but simply offer up-to-date information on the latest developments in medical technology, official
regulations and general economic conditions in the market in an attractive setting. Every effort is made

Success story to continue in 2013
Originally, the next WMTF was to be held in 2014. However, the WMTF partners and industry have
expressed a clear preference for holding the next WMTF in 2013. This means the next World Medtech
Forum will take place in Lucerne from September 17 to 19, 2013. The partner organizations are
delighted by this expression of confidence and are doing all they can to continue the WMTF success
story.
