CDC plastic casing

Continental Disc Corporation has improved on a good thing. Continental's SANITRX series of sanitary rupture discs are now shipped from the factory enclosed in specially designed, clear, plastic cases.

The new packaging allows sanitary rupture discs to be taken into hygienic/sanitary environments while protecting the rupture disc right up to the moment of installation. The form-fitting packaging features an easy to open pop-top - no need to cut the package with sharp objects. Users lift at the slot and the top pops up, allowing the installer to remove the rupture disc easily and without damage. Inside the protective case, the rupture disc is shielded from environmental contaminants like dust, moisture, or cardboard shavings. There are no rubber foam or expanded polystyrene bits to cling to the rupture disc. The packaging is made of easily recyclable PET-G material.

This specially made packaging is now used as a standard with all of our sanitary rupture discs, and is provided at no additional cost to the customer.
