Berthold Technologies has announced that its TriStar² S multimode microplate reader has been enhanced in its versatility by adding TR-FRET functionality enabling the measurement of homogeneous time-resolved fluorescence assays.
Both filters and a double monochromator can be used for excitation and absorbance, whereas highly transmittive filters are applied for fluorescence emission and spaectral luminescence measurements.
