Safeguarding valuable samples

SampleGuardTM temperature control, available as an option on Genevac HT-Series evaporator systems, protects samples from any possibility of overheating when evaporation is complete.

The unique patented technique eliminates the possibility of thermal degradation - safeguarding valuable samples and removing the need for further time consuming method development.

SampleGuardTM is sample protection system that ensures smooth evaporation and fast drying times without overheating your samples. Comprising two thermocouples and a unique sample temperature radio transmitter, SampleGuardTM provides real time feedback, thus allowing accurate control of actual sample temperatures.

SampleGuardTM probes can measure temperature at any point in the sample holder. Either one or two probes can be used to accurately and reliably determine end-of-run, enabling the system to be easily set for optimal performance and automatic shutdown, making it ideal for the multi-user environment. Unlike some thermocouple based systems it is not necessary to place a probe into a sample to be able to end the run automatically. Software in the HT systems detects the flow of energy through the sample holders and can detect the onset of dryness, stopping the process automatically, and preventing over processing of samples.

Genevac, an SP Industries company, was founded in 1990. Today the company employs around 85 people, with manufacturing, R&D and marketing headquartered in Ipswich, UK. Genevac today offers a comprehensive portfolio of evaporators to suit almost any solvent removal application, purchasing budget or productivity requirement.
