Porvair Sciences has launched MaxiLute an innovative new 48-well Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) sample preparation microplate system.
The design of the MaxiLute is said to offer advantages for laboratories currently using SPE cartridges to process large volumes of sample.
The MaxiLute offers the capability to process up to 200 ml of sample in one go repeatedly and precisely. Based on a standard microplate format the MaxiLute is fully compatible with automated liquid handling and robotic devices providing considerable productivity benefits. Each well on the MaxiLute has an individual drain spout ensuring 100 per cent sample transfer and zero cross over contamination.
