Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has introduced a versatile triple quadrupole gas chromatograph mass spectrometer, the GCMS-TQ RX series.
The series features new high-sensitivity technology. A detector combines noise-reduction technologies with high amplification performance. A dual Off-Axis configuration also helps lower background noise from uncharged particles. This improves signal clarity and analytical reliability.
Flexible operation is supported through a multi-mode injection unit that enhanced operational efficiency and streamlines method development. Shimadzu’s thermal insulation technology achieves both high temperature stability and rapid heating and cooling. The databases are pre-populated with compounds required for each application, so operators can start analysis immediately.
Advanced automation is another key aspect of the series. Smart MRM+ automatically creates optimised analytical methods to enable high-sensitivity and high-accuracy quantitative analysis, even for simultaneous scan/MRM analysis. Real-time monitoring allows operators an understanding of operating status and the estimated completion time for consecutive analyses.
LabSolutions Explore streamlines analytical workflows by integrating advanced data processing, spectral library searching, targeted and non-targeted analysis and quantitative workflows into a single environment. Efficiency is further supported by LabSolutions Insight, a quantitative analysis-support software which reduces the time required for multi-sample data analysis. Peakintelligence, an AI-based peak processing algorithm reduces the time required for peak processing.
The GCMS-TQ RX series is designed to help laboratories meet evolving analytical demands with greater efficiency and accuracy.
