The latest evolution of its i-Series line is the i-Series LC-2070/LC-2080
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has launched the i-Series LC-2070/LC-2080 Integrated High-Performance Liquid Chromatographs (HPLC), the latest evolution of its i-Series range. Building on the design of previous i-Series models, the new LC-2070/LC-2080 systems provide enhanced robustness, advanced data reliability and next-generation automation in a compact, tabletop format.
Featuring Shimadzu’s Analytical Intelligence, a suite of intelligent functions, the new i-Series HPLC systems ensure an optimised performance from start-up to shut-down. These functions include automated bubble detection and resolution, self-diagnostics, and predictive maintenance and recovery tools, designed to decrease downtime and reduce operator workload.
The system also contains a new integrated column management platform (iCMP), a solution for tracking column usage that improves usability and data integrity.
Select components contain sustainably chemically recycled plastics to reduce reliance on petroleum and carbon dioxide emissions. Additionally, LabSolutions software’s shut-down and ecology modes can decrease power consumption while durable components minimise long-term waste and operating costs.
A full-colour LCD touch panel enables intuitive navigation for users of varying skill levels. Operators can follow on-screen maintenance guides, scan QR codes for instant troubleshooting and monitor column conditioning and peak shapes in real time, directly from the instrument’s display.
Users can securely access data and control instruments remotely from smart devices when paired with Shimadzu’s LabSolutions CS and LabSolutions Direct software.
LabSolutions MD software streamlines method development, allowing users to quickly create optimised workflows. Peakintelligenge, Shimadzu’s AI-driven chromatogram peak detection algorithm, reduces manual correction time by 75%.
