The imaging technology enables a single exam to screen for breast cancer and BAC
CureMetrix, specialist in AI solutions for mammography, has partnered with diagnostic imaging company Rezolut Imaging to enhance the detection of breast arterial calcifications (BAC) on routine mammograms.
“We are committed to bringing innovative, high-impact technologies to the providers and patients we serve,” said Rezolut CEO Dr Jin Kim.
“By incorporating CureMetrix’s cmAngio into our imaging network, we are expanding the role of mammography beyond cancer detection and supporting a more comprehensive approach to women’s health.”
Under the collaboration, Rezolut will implement CureMetrix’s cmAngio software across its imaging network. cmAngio is an AI-enabled technology that allows a single exam to screen for breast cancer and BAC, expanding the clinical value of routine mammography.
“This agreement with Rezolut underscores the growing momentum behind cmAngio as an extension of routine mammography,” said CureMetrix president Kevin Harris. “Now live in more than 350 imaging sites nationwide, we are honoured to work with Rezolut to bring additional clinical insight to women through the exams they already receive.”
Deployment of cmAngio across Rezolut’s imaging centres has just begun last month.
