The collaboration bridges the gap between laboratory management and bioinformatics
Cloud-based software companies Basepair and OnQ Software have partnered to optimise end-to-end genomic workflows in sequencing laboratories.
OnQ Software is the developer of cloud-based QLIMS, a LIMS system designed to streamline laboratory operations, while Basepair is a provider of cloud-based bioinformatics.

Genomics laboratories generally must navigate separate systems for sample tracking, data analysis and reporting. The separation of these systems leads to slower turnaround times and an increase in both manual errors and operational costs.

Combining QLIMS’ laboratory management tools with Basepairs genomic data analysis platform enables the technologies to form a fully integrated lab-to-analysis workflow built by Amazon Web Services ISV Partners.
The aim is to eliminate manual data transfers, improve data integrity and accelerate decision-making.
