New range of cell lines from Amsbio

Life science company Amsbio has launched a range of authenticated cell lines covering a range of tumours and tissues. The addition offers over 1,000 independently verified cell lines and versatile primary and stem cells.

Cell lines are populations of cells originating from a single common ancestor that are grown and maintained in vitro. They can be infinitely propagated for biomedical research, drug discovery and vaccine development.

With the new range, Amsbio aims to provide physiologically relevant options to support the study of research areas such as gene activation, protein-protein interactions, cell signalling and differentiation.

Each cell line has undergone a multi-step authentication process, as well as sterility and mycoplasma testing. By using cells that retain their original genetic composition and phenotypic characteristics, researchers can achieve greater reliability and accuracy in their experimental results.
