Adaptix, a medical imaging innovator, has formed a distribution partnership with Spartan Medical to expand federal access to its Orthopaedic 3D Imaging System, Adaptix Ortho350.
The agreement appoints Spartan Medical, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business specialising in federal healthcare delivery, as exclusive federal government reseller of the Adaptix Ortho350 to VA medical centres, military treatment facilities, and other federal healthcare organisations across the US.
Vince Proffitt, President of Spartan Medical, said, “The Ortho350 puts CT-style 3D answers in the exam room, in under 20 seconds, at plain film dose, without sending the patient anywhere. This partnership aligns directly with Spartan’s mission to help federal clinicians adopt innovative technologies that improve care for service members, Veterans, and their families.”
Chris Rogers, Global Commercial Director for Adaptix, said, “Spartan Medical brings deep experience navigating federal healthcare procurement and a strong understanding of the clinical needs of VA and DoD facilities. Together, we can make advanced orthopaedic imaging more accessible in VA and military hospitals, VA outpatient clinics, and other care environments where conventional CT may not be practical.”
The Adaptix Ortho350 represents a breakthrough in how X-ray images are captured. Using low-dose tomosynthesis, the system generates high-resolution 3D images that provide greater visibility of soft tissues and bone structures, resulting in more accurate diagnoses while reducing radiation exposure and operating costs compared with traditional CT-based imaging technologies.
