Navinci has launched Omni, a breakthrough fully customised kit created to transform how scientists study protein function in tissue.
Omni provides advanced spatial interactomics capabilities, enabling researchers to better map protein networks and understand health, disease progression, and drug mechanisms.
Developed on Navinci’s proprietary in situ proximity ligation assay (isPLA) technology, Omni enables the detection of up to nine target pairs simultaneously within a single experiment. By utilising antibody-oligonucleotide pairs that generate amplifiable DNA when in close proximity, Omni helps to expose protein interactions, post-translational modifications, and single protein targets in situ.
Researchers can create fully customisable panels using Navinci’s library of validated targets or choose from pre-validated panels in key research areas such as MAPK signalling, immuno-oncology, and TCR/BCR immune profiling. All antibodies are pre-conjugated by Navinci to avoid time-consuming optimisation and ensure reliable results.
Omni is available as a ready-to-use kit for in-house experiments and a full-service offering performed by Navinci experts, enabling as many researchers as possible to access the technology.
In collaboration with Uppsala University, a proof-of-concept study demonstrated Omni’s high sensitivity and specificity across cell lines and clinical FFPE samples, facilitating simultaneous analysis of nine target pairs in a single assay.
Omni combines high multiplexing capability with robust performance and spatial resolution, enabling scientists to capture complex biological interactions in their native context, without compromising sensitivity or specificity.
