Using Stevanato Group’s EZ-fill technology, the vials are pre-sterilised and ready to use upon delivery
Nipro PharmaPackaging, a pharmaceutical packaging solutions company, has launched its direct-to-fill (D2F) glass vials.
“We are excited to introduce D2F glass vials, offering a reliable and efficient RTU packaging solution that addresses the evolving needs of the pharmaceutical industry,” said Nipro PharmaPackaging CEO Stephan Arnold.
The vials, are washed, depyrogenated and pre-sterilised, featuring healthcare solutions company Stevanato Group’s EZ-fill technology. This means pharmaceutical companies can integrate the vials directly into their aseptic fill-finish processes.
“The EZ-fill platform is an increasingly reliable, scalable, and cost-effective solution and industry-validated technology,” said Stevanato Group’s chief business officer Mauro Stocchi.
The D2F vials are compatible with a variety of fill-finish lines as they were developed in collaboration with machine suppliers.
The next and tub design of the vials prevents glass-to-glass contact, reducing particle generation, breakage and defects during transportation and handling. This increases cost efficiency and stability of the vial’s use once in the laboratory.
