Cleanroom Technology has named medical equipment company Steris the winner of the 2026 Best Disinfectant Award. The award, which applies to both sprays and wipes, is for Steris’ Vest-Syde SQ disinfectant.
“What sets this product line apart is its versatility and its registration as a one step cleaner and disinfectant, combined with demonstrated efficacy against challenging fungal spores and excellent material compatibility,” said Steris global product manager Bob Hayden.
Vesta-Syde SQ disinfectants are formulated for pharmaceutical cleanrooms and other critical environments. They are designed for the disinfection of hard, non-porous surfaces which are plentiful in laboratories.
Available in a variety of sizes and configurations, Vesta-Syde SQ disinfectants come as wipes, trigger sprays and bulk volumes. Steris offers sterile and non-sterile options to support diverse contamination control programme needs.
The Cleanroom Technology Awards occur annually to celebrate technical advancements in cleanroom design, operation and technology.
