Prudential Overall Supply, a cleanroom services company, has broken ground on a new ISO Class 3 cleanroom and industrial laundry facility for pharmaceutical, bioscience, semiconductor and advanced manufacturing facilities.
“More important than the building itself are the opportunities it will create for people, customers, and the communities we serve,” said Prudential president Chris Welch. “This investment will allow Prudential to strengthen our service capabilities, support continued growth, and build new relationships throughout Texas and the surrounding region.”
The $40-45m investment is expected to be completed in Q1 2028 in Austin, Texas. The facility will create over 150 jobs and support Texas’ growing pharmaceutical and bioscience industries.
Upon completion, the project will become Prudential’s 38th location and 9th ISO Class three cleanroom laundry processing facility. The Austin expansion is designed to support the continued growth of highly regulated and advanced industries throughout the region.
A ribbon cutting ceremony took place 1st October, where Prudential employees, customers, suppliers, community partners, project partners and invited guests discussed the facility’s anticipated economic and employment impact on the surrounding area.
The Austin project continues Prudential Overall Supply’s long-term strategy of investing in modern processing capacity while positioning facilities closer to the customers and industries the company serves.
