ALine’s advanced fabrication process addresses the need for low dead-volume, self-contained assay platforms that permit the development and scale-up of sophisticated Lab-on-a-Chip devices. Used principally for low dead volume, multiplexed assays, where multiple assay steps require washing and multiple reagent streams, ALine’s process permits rapid prototyping using precision laser cutting, and integration of advanced functionality in a scalable manufacturing process. The self-contained, disposable assay cards permit, for example, applications in radio-assays, where contamination control is a must.
