Laboratory instrument manufacturer Waters Corporation has introduced the Xevo TQ Absolute XR Mass Spectrometer for a range of applications, including PFAS, bioanalysis and genotoxic impurity testing.

The benchtop tandem quadrupole is designed to be sensitive enough to pick up trace-level analyses in complex matrices.
The mass spectrometer uses 50% less power and nitrogen gas, and produce 50% less heat than other high-performing tandem or triple quadrupoles, providing high performance while lower environmental impact.
With the Xevo TQ Absolute XR Mass Spectrometer comes the StepWave XR Ion Guide, which minimises downtime while ensuring sensitivity and precision for complex sample types and fragile compounds.
Recently, Waters launched a set of affinity chromatography columns, the BioResolve Protein A Affinity Columns.
