Glove manufacturer Top Glove has recently unveiled two new examination gloves: the LiteGuard Lightweight Latex examination glove and the ElastiCore Accelerator Free Nitrile examination glove.
The glove designs aim to reduce hand fatigue and minimise skin sensitivity across sectors, including healthcare and laboratory work.
“These products are designed to meet the growing demand for gloves that provide protection, comfort, and skin safety, setting new standards in performance and user experience.,” said Top Glove marketing director Lim Jin Feng.” With these launches, we reaffirm our dedication to creating solutions that genuinely support the people who rely on our gloves every day.”
LiteGuard addresses the challenge of hand fatigue and lack of strength, something traditionally limited in lightweight gloves. The force at break (FAB) of ≥6N and high puncture resistance reduce the need for thicker alternatives. This keeps the lightweight gloves suitable for precise performance in laboratory and medical tasks.
ElastiCore is designed to minimise the type of Type IV allergy commonly associated with chemical accelerators used in conventional nitrile gloves. The glove uses accelerator-free and low dermatitis formulation which helps to minimise allergy risks. Elasticore is stretchable up to an average of ≥650% for flexibility, according to the company.
