Sygnature Discovery completes facility enhancement

The company made additions to its high-throughput chemistry capabilities and laboratory infrastructure.

CRO Sygnature Discovery has completed a major enhancement to its high-throughput chemistry (HTC) capabilities and laboratory infrastructure following a £1 million investment.

“This investment in our capabilities further enhances the value for our customers and reinforces our commitment to delivering cutting-edge services,” said Sygnature Discovery director of chemistry Geraint Jones.

The enhancement has doubled Sygnature’s synthesis and purification capacity, supporting accelerated access to high-quality compounds. Sygnature’s in-house HTS platform rapidly evaluates compound libraries against biological targets to accelerate the identification of promising drug candidates.

Supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) was also integrated into Sygnature’s HTC platform, offering both reverse-phase and SFC purification options.

The upgraded facilities will be fully operational beginning in August.
