AI laboratory informatics specialist Sapio Sciences has launched the third generation of its Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), Sapio ELaiN.

Traditional ELNs have been limited to recording and documenting research, with some more recent ELNs also modelling and analysing data. The rigidity of these traditional ELNs resulted in most of the research burden remaining on scientists.
ELaiN, however, is able to support scientists with tasks such as accessing and searching data, designing and building experiments from existing protocols and analysing results with embedded scientific methods. This ultimately helps to accelerate therapeutic pipelines and decision-making.
