Diagnostic healthcare product manufacturer QuidelOrtho has launched its Results Manager System, an informatics solution designed to optimise laboratory efficiency.
"The Results Manager system addresses the critical challenges laboratories face today—rising test volumes, staffing shortages, and increasing complexity—while maintaining a focus on high-quality patient care," said QuidelOrtho senior VP, Labs and Transfusion Medicine Business Units Bryan Hanson.
The system continuously tracks instruments and assays, using auto-verification for most common verification parameters. Simplified rule-writing tools encourage easy implementation while reducing potential errors.
The QuidelOrtho sample storage is customisable to existing rack sizes to encourage easy integration into laboratories. The system is configurable across multiple laboratory sites, allowing unlimited concurrent users.
Faster turnaround times are supported by optimised results delivery and integrated quality checks, automatically blocking auto-verification when out of specimen. This helps to avoid costly, unnecessary re-runs.
The Master Data Module for quick assay setup and a drag-and-drop interface further accelerate turnaround times while reducing error.
