QT9 Software updates for medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology teams

QT9 Software, a global technology specialist in Quality Management Software and ERP solutions, has updated QT9 ERP for 2026, the latest release of its manufacturing ERP platform designed to help regulated manufacturers handle growing operational complexity without adding overhead

Designed for life sciences organisations including medical device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers, QT9 ERP unifies manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, and business operations in a single platform while supporting real-time visibility, traceability, efficiency, and compliance.

Among the new software updates are a Rework module and a new Contract Manufacturing module. The Rework module lets users generate and manage rework orders directly from returns, existing inventory or work in process through controlled workflows that maintain full traceability, eliminate disconnected tracking and help recover more value.

The Contract Manufacturing module helps companies manage outsourced operations such as sterilisation, coating, testing, packaging and overflow production inside the ERP. It provides centralised visibility into outsourced work, connected purchasing and shipping workflows, traceable production history and integrated recieving back into production for stronger control and fewer handoff gaps.

QTP ERP 2026 also introduces potency tracking embedded in work orders, in-process testing, and electronic batch records, bringing potency data into a unified, audit-ready environment and enabling regulated manufacturers to track potency values across production and inventory, supporting product consistency, documentation readiness, and regulatory compliance. In combination with one-click electronic batch records, these enhancements help teams produce documentation faster with less manual effort.

On the shop floor, users can now view all open material requirements in one place, print pick lists from the system and assign materials across multiple jobs. These enhancements improve coordination between planning and production, streamline material staging and allocation, and reduce delays and picking inefficiencies in fast-moving manufacturing environments.

The new updates add new Avalara and ShipStation integrations to reduce manual work between systems. Avalara automates tax calculations to enhance accuracy and reduce tax-related errors, while ShipStation improve shipping and fulfilment with better control over the order-to-delivery process. A new AI-driven Help Centre further improves day-to-day usability by providing faster access to guidance and support within the system.

Additional updates include Spanish-language Shop Floor capabilities, improved forecasting and comparative Profit & Loss reporting, designed to help manufacturers work more efficiently and make better-informed decisions. With support for cloud and on-premises deployments, a pre-validated platform and a native integration with QT9 QMS, these 2026 enhancements help life sciences manufacturers simplify compliance while improving operational performance.
