The organisation seeks to explore intelligent AI solutions built on experience.
The Pharma AI Council (PAC), an organisation of pharma, biotech and medical device experts, has been launched to shape the innovation and use of generative and agentic AI solutions in these fields.
"The Pharma AI Council isn't just a forum—it's a much-needed catalyst for intelligently augmenting human potential within life sciences,” said lead sponsor of PAC Parth Khanna.
The use of AI can address real-world challenges, enhance commercial workflows and improve patient outcomes.
The aim is to enable PAC’s pharma, biotech and medical device leaders to offer experience-driven feedback to software innovators.
By grounding AI innovations in practical industry needs, PAC can meet the strict regulatory and compliance standards in the life science industry.
"Ensuring that AI solutions are built for the realities of the life sciences industry is critical for successful adoption," said Pharma AI Council founding member Carl Wooten.
"I'm pleased to be a part of this council that is creating a unique platform where industry leaders can directly influence how AI evolves to better serve pharma field teams, healthcare professionals, and patients."
