Equipment manufacturer and supplier PCE Instruments has launched the Moisture Analyser PCE-UX 3081.
The analyser can determine the exact moisture content in laboratories and many industries, such as the wood, agriculture and plastics industries.
Suitable for a variety of light, bulky content, the analyser dries and weighs materials up to 400g and 360 cm³. The weight loss of the sample is continuously recorded and displayed in real time as a percentage of the total mass.
Additional measurements are also available, such as % moisture, % dry matter, % moisture bd, residual weight (g/kg) and absolute residual weight. This allows operators flexibility when analysing the data.
The analyser provides moisture measurement with a precision of 0.001g, ensuring accurate results even for more demanding measurements.
Measurement parameters are displayed on a backlit four inch LC display and results can be transferred via RS-232 or USB interfaces. Results can also be further processed using additional, optional software.
With a sample volume of 485ccm, the analyser is suitable for materials such as shavings, pellets, hay, tobacco leaves, tea leaves, granulates, powders and silage.
