The tool helps to accelerate biomedical research.
French biotechnology and AI specialist company Owkin has launched the K Navigator, an agentic biomedical research co-pilot that can help to accelerate biomedical research.
“The ultimate aim for K is to curate large language models and foundation models with patient-level data at scale, so we can move closer to ground-truth biology and finally capture its full complexity,” said Owkin co-founder and CEO Thomas Clozel.
With the free-to-use K Navigator, researchers can explore, adjust and validate hypotheses, as well as visualise data and refine questions.
Drawing on 19 biomedical databases and 26.5m scientific articles, the AI tool allows researchers to identify conduct accurate analysis and identify unexplored and unpublished research areas.
The K Navigator accesses and analyses newly released spatial multiomic data at single cell resolution from Mosaic Window, a subset of the largest spatial omics dataset in oncology.

The next update to the K Navigator will introduce smooth collaboration, result sharing, project organisation and advanced histology tools for filtering, grouping, heat mapping and deeper digital pathology slide analysis.
