Biotech Fluidics has unveiled the ASI 540, an affordable, standalone solvent delivery pump that has been designed to optimise liquid chromatography applications.
All models in the ASI 540 pump range include an intuitive touchscreen display that provides full control over pump functions, flow rates, and gradient programmes. ASI 540 pumps can also be controlled remotely.
The pump is available in different models for UHPLC, HPLC, semi-preparative, and flash chromatography, covering liquid flow rates from 0.5µL/min to 300mL/min.
With pump heads available in either stainless steel or biocompatible PEEK, the ASI 540 pump can withstand pressures up to 15,000psi and is compatible with many solvents and applications.
While the ASI 540 pump is easy to use, it also features advanced functionality for experienced separation scientists. The ASI 540 pump features a patented floating pump seal that remains aligned with the piston, reducing wear and extending seal lifetime. The pump head is also self-priming and comes with an integral purge function for rapid solvent changes. Flow precision with an ASI 540 pump exceeds 0.25% across the entire flow rate range; pulsations are also below 1%.
Every ASI 540 pump has been designed for easy maintenance and is both RoHS-compliant and CE-certified. All user serviceable components are accessible through the front panel, and the cartridge seal design makes seal replacement straightforward.
