Prior Scientific, a developer and manufacturer of precision components and complete microscope systems, has launched the HF108B high-speed filter wheel, designed for fast and reliable optical switching in imaging applications. The HF108B can accommodate up to eight 32mm filters, enabling users to configure illumination to meet specific requirements easily.
The HF108B is suited for high-speed, wide-field fluorescence microscopy and integration into confocal or super-resolution instruments, featuring a 29mm clear aperture that makes it a viable option for modern, high-numerical-aperture microscopes and large-format cameras. Various attachment points are supplied to create custom adapters for system integrators.
In comparison to the HF108A model, the HF108B has improved speed and durability, a 21mm body that facilitates straightforward integration with minimal impact on microscope infinity space, and a redesigned filter clamping mechanism for simpler filter installation and exchange.
