The new ACU portable air clean unit is suitable for industrial, commercial, and cleanroom applications
The new ACU portable air clean unit from Getek combines high-efficiency particulate control with customisable molecular filtration in a self-contained mobile unit, providing indoor air quality and controlled-environment contamination control in commercial and industrial settings.
Differing from traditional portable air cleaners that are limited to HEPA filtration and generic carbon media, the new ACU has ULPA-class particle options for beyond-HEPA performance and refillable, site-specific Chemsorb chemisorptive blends. Through this combination, airborne molecular contaminants (AMC) can be targeted while also reducing consumable waste and supporting ESG objectives.
The unit's mobile design allows for fast relocation to address localised contamination wherever it may occur. Configurations range from general ambient air cleaning to ultra-high filtration for cleanrooms and critical production areas.
The ACU supports HEPA H13 and optional ULPA stages, delivering up to 99.999% particle removal efficiency at MPPS, making it suitable for occupational health protection, infection-risk reduction, and process-critical cleanliness.
The lower chamber houses Getek Chemsorb media in refillable trays (Chemsorb-R), pleated (Chemsorb-P), or sponge (Chemsorb-S) formats. Depending on the blend, Chemsorb is also able to target acids, bases, molecular gases, VOCs, ozone, refractory compounds, and boron-/phosphorus-containing gases.
