Gerstel will bring systems for sample preparation, thermal desorption and odour analysis to the partnership.
Advanced Automation Technologies (AAT), a family of laboratory automation companies, has acquired developer and manufacturer Gerstel.
Gerstel specialises in automated solutions for gas and liquid chromatography by developing and manufacturing systems for sample preparation, thermal desorption and odour analysis.

Gerstel products are designed to accommodate a range of industry needs, including fragrance, environmental testing, food and beverage, and forensics.
Its aim is to enhance precision and efficiency in laboratories by optimising workflows, reducing manual intervention through automated processes and improving the accuracy and reproducibility of analytical results.
