High volume liquid handling has become easier for laboratories
Laboratory equipment manufacturer Integra Biosciences has upgraded its Welljet dispenser stacker to include automated processing of deep well places up to 45mm in height.
This increase allows laboratories to handle larger sample volumes in 96 or 384 well formats.
Usually, deep plates with increased height can create mechanical constraints for standard automated liquid handlers. This introduces mechanical difficulties for large-volume laboratories.
However, Integra’s Welljet dispenser stacker is optimised for quick, accurate processing of deep well plates.
Deep well plates support large-scale sample preparation, storage and processing of large volumes of complex liquids such as reagents, buffers and culture media.
The stacker has a compact design that allows for precise handling and offers a walk-away solution that can be arranged through a touchscreen interface.
