Gloves manufacturer Intco Medical has introduced Syntex synthetic latex gloves and Synmax Pro gloves, designed for healthcare environments and medical examinations, as well as food processing and industrial manufacturing.

Material options within the disposable glove industry are evolving, as natural rubber supply volatility, latex allergy concerns and stringent sustainability regulations become increasingly central factors to glove manufacturing. Synthetic options are emerging as a safe alternative.
The Syntex series has a sulphur-free formulation and contains no natural rubber latex proteins. The gloves offer a soft tactile feel with stable puncture and chemical resistance performance.
Laboratory testing data found that Syntex achieves an average elongation at break of up to 650%, meeting the ASTM D6319 medical glove standard. It has also passed EN455 and EN374 testing and complies with FDA and EU CE standards.
The Synmax Pro series features operational durability and enhanced abrasion resistance about 10 times that of conventional nitrile gloves under specified testing conditions. Laboratory testing data also found that Synmax Pro delivers elongation at break exceeding 400%.
