Life sciences company Biosearch Technologies is collaborating with liquid handling solutions specialist Dynamic Devices to deliver instruments, reagents and consumables worldwide.
“This partnership allows us to combine the best of both companies’ technologies and capabilities and offer our customers unparalleled efficiency and accuracy in DNA purification and genotyping,” said Dynamic Devices global sales manager Toby Sangel.
Dynamic Devices’ liquid handling and motion control experience has aided in creating products such as its Lynx robotic liquid handler, which offers volumetric verification and independent volume control in a multi-channel pipetting head.
Biosearch, which is part of life sciences company LGC’s Diagnostics and Genomics division, specialises in high-throughput genotyping, offering solutions including SNPline, sbeadex Lightning and Amp-Seq workflows.
“When combined with our sbeadex Lightning chemistry, and Amp-Seq workflows, the Lynx handler provides a powerful, automated solution for DNA purification and genotyping needs,” said LGC vice president of product management Brian Boissonneault.
