A system touted to ‘revolutionise cleanroom laundry services’
Cleanroom specialist BeMicron has launched a new On-Premises Laundry (OPL) system that looks set to revolutionise cleanroom laundry services.
By combining BeMicron’s 30 years of knowledge about cleanroom laundry and in-house developed software, OPL systems ensure that cleanroom garments are processed with precise customisable protocols tailored to specific contamination control requirements.
A spokesperson for BeMicron said that the service will offer lab technicians "unprecedented control, efficiency and compliance".
The cleanroom features a washing machine, dryer and gowning folding table as well as connection to packing area via a roll-up gate. Customers can choose an optional gate GMPConnect for GMP validated software requirements as well as HVAC maintenance contracting. The service comes with software tools to provide traceability.
An on-premises laundry will offer enhanced overall operational efficiency and lower logistical costs to provide complete visibility into the entire laundry process, according to the company.
