AES launches modular cleanroom utility solution

The vertical solution optimises cleanroom space and efficiency.

Designer, constructor and manufacturer AES Cleanroom Technology has launched Omni Ascent, a vertical utility solution designed to optimise cleanroom space and efficiency.

Omni Ascent can be strategically placed anywhere on the cleanroom floor, enabling pharmaceutical and biotech facilities to optimise space and workflow without compromising compliance.

“By eliminating the need for wall or ceiling-mounted utilities, we are giving manufacturers the freedom to configure layouts more efficiently, enhance accessibility for maintenance and operations, and accelerate deployment—all while maintaining the highest industry standards,” said AES senior vice president of operations Shawn Reniker.

The system’s strategic placement differs from traditional systems that require utilities to snap onto panels, often limiting layout options and creating accessibility challenges.

Reduced utility runs eliminate unnecessary ladder use and minimise tripping hazards. Designed for rapid deployment, the system arrives fully assembled, reducing downtime usually spent on installation.

The Omni Ascent’s modular nature and easy integration with existing Omni raceway solutions support retrofits for facilities aiming to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.

The AES Omni Ascent was introduced at Interphex 2025 at the Javits Centre in New York City.
