The ProteQ Viso enables flat-screen 3D image viewing without needing traditional eyepieces
Vision Engineering, a specialist in ergonomic microscopy, stereo imaging, and metrology solutions, has launched its ProteQ Viso, a 3D digital stereo microscope with an ‘autostereo‘ display that allows flat-screen 3D image viewing without traditional eyepieces.
Developed by Vision Engineering for advanced inspection, lab and design, new product development, manufacturing applications, and prototyping, ProteQ Viso is suitable for precision workflows across manufacturing, electronics, prototyping, and medical device development.
ProteQ Viso’s autostereo is a 3D LCD Display technology that enables viewers to view 3D images with reduced visual fatigue, without requiring additional glasses or other tools.
Twin cameras within the monitor control eye-tracking software to ensure the user receives clear 3D images whilst also enabling freedom of head movement.
ProteQ Viso has been designed to help reduce fatigue and increase productivity during extended sessions through its upright viewing position, adjustable screen, eye-point comfort, live magnification indication, and 10:1 zoom.
The microscope’s stereo imaging capabilities improve depth perception, enabling intuitive 3D interaction during inspection and prototyping. Users can also switch to mono viewing for real-time discussion and shared analysis, in person or remotely.
ProteQ Viso has a range of digital features for modern technical teams, including:

The system also has low-heat lighting, a speratable display for safety and clean cabinet setups, quick-change lighting components, lockable detents, sub-stage illumination, and an optional 360-degree viewer.
