Latest generation of cutting mills

Fritsch cutting mills are ideal for size reduction of soft to medium-hard, tough-elastic and fibrous materials as well as for heterogeneous mixtures. They are indispensable in the areas of food, pharmaceutical industry, plastics, agriculture, forestry, construction materials, textiles, chemistry and as well as for analytic and sample preparation for RoHS-analysis.

A particularly important criterion for a Cutting Mill is the question how fast and easy it can be cleaned in daily laboratory use. Therefore the company placed particular value on the easy cleaning when it developed the Pulverisette 19. The entire grinding chamber can be opened easily in seconds and both the rotor and the sieve can simply be removed with simple motions. It is possible to lift open the entire top part of the housing as well as the door – in fact, the door can be completely removed. And that’s not all: the rotor of the Cutting Mills can be removed easily without tools for quick cleaning in between and it can be turned by hand, when the mill is open.

The result is a completely open and empty grinding chamber with minimal dead space for easy and quick cleaning – a secure protection against cross contaminations!

Fritsch has recently launched the Pulverisette 19 in a corrosion-resistant stainless steel version 316L, especially for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industry.

Advantages are:

Increased resistance to corrosive media such as alkalis and acids, but especially to chloride containing media

FDA compliant (Food and Drug Administration), as well as to regulation (EC) Nr. 1935/2004 of the European Parliament according to article 3, paragraph 1, compliant material in the food and pharmaceutical industry

Combines above this, the well-known advantages of the Pulverisette 19 standard version, such as handling and cleaning

Can be combined with the new sample exhaust system with high-performance cyclone separator made of stainless steel 304. It ensures with its powerful vacuum function, based on negative pressure a simple feeding, fast throughput and good cooling and is especially recommended for analytical requirements.
