Safety and the environment in vacuum measurement

Vacuubrand's DVR 2 for the measuring range 1080 - 1 mbar with simultaneous analogue and digital measurement readouts combines a quick trend indication, an overview and a precise readout.

The equipment has an integrated capacitive pressure sensor made from alumina ceramic offering very good corrosion resistance and excellent long-term stability. The instrument is battery operated and completely portable therefore making it very versatile and flexible in use.

The possibility for users to select the time-out period for the display as well as an automatic switch off feature lead to a long actual working time for the already long-life lithium battery. The measurement units (mbar, hPa, Torr) can be selected by the user.

The VAP 5 for the measuring range atmosphere down to 10-3 mbar works using the thermal conductivity principle. It is a desktop instrument, but also has the possibility to be stand mounted.

The new measuring instruments DVR 3, 4, 4S have ATEX accreditation and are characterised by outstanding readability, robustness and accuracy with low cost of ownership. They are certified for use in zone 1 as well as internal zone 0 conditions. The DVR 4S also has a current interface via which the measured data can be transferred. These measuring instruments thus offer interesting possibilities for use within highly combustible areas in production and technical schools and have numerous advantages over traditional mechanical vacuum measuring instruments.
