Ultra clean-in-place option accelerates processor cleaning between batches

Cleaning between product batches is now faster and easier with the new ultra clean-in-place system available as an option or retrofit for M-210, M-610 and M-700 series Microfluidics Microfluidizer processors.

It requires no disassembly and can be computer or manually controlled. With the use of bypass valves, cleaning solution can be pumped around the interaction chambers to maintain the velocity necessary to efficiently clean the downstream piping and other components such as a heat exchange. Once these are clean, the flow is diverted to the interaction chambers to clean them as well.

The ultra clean-in-place system is suitable for processing hard-to-clean products or for use with applications that require running different, multiple product batches in quick succession for the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

The M-700 Series Microfluidizer processors (which can be ordered with the ultra clean-in-place system option) are now standard with all-stainless steel construction at no extra cost. All three, scaleable M-700 series models use Microfluidics patented process technology to reduce particles to uniform, submicron sizes at the highest shear rates available. u
