Microscopes have 3000 Pa pressure range

Leo Electron Microscopy develops, manufactures and distributes worldwide electron microscopes and focused ion beam systems.

The SEM range include the ultra high resolution analytical Supra range with the Gemini field emission column and variable pressure technology.

Leo's TEM range includes models with the Omega in-column filtering to enhance imaging performance and to provide materials analysis.

Leo offers a complete range of multi-purpose scanning electron microscopes with an extended pressure range of up to 3000 Pa to avoid dehydration of wet samples. The new SE detector developed for the extended pressure range ensures optimum quality imaging of delicate specimens. The wide range of applications include quality control, drug development, pharmaceutical product dissolution, chemical reactions on surfaces and dynamic experiments with water interacting with materials.

Based on the Gemini column Leo has developed the CrossBeam workstations. The Leo CrossBeam offers live imaging during milling and polishing with the ion beam. Combined with a comprehensive and versatile gas injection system the Leo CrossBeam is a research tool for cross-sectioning, 3D structural and material analysis, TEM preparation, material deposition and nano-fabrication. The complete product range offers one-stop solutions for EM based failure analysis.
