Beverages for the Middle East

In the Middle East, natural products are in growing demand because consumers believe that natural ingredients contribute towards a healthy diet.

WILD has a launched a broad range of natural ingredients for beverages from flavours, tea extracts and colours to specialty ingredients like natural functional flavors.

At Gulfood Dubai, WILD introduced to the Middle Eastern market beverage concepts using the natural sweetener Stevia. WILD's strong competence in flavour system technology gives manufacturers distinct advantages in implementing natural, sophisticated product formulations. Other new concepts for natural, beverages on a malt concentrate base include combinations with juice, energy and fruit flavours. The company says these are an non-alcoholic alternative to beer and traditional soft drinks. WILD supplies the beverage industry with assorted palette of malt flavour systems as well as fruit flavours.

Another alternative to traditional soft drinks are ready-to-drink teas. WILD offers concepts based on all tea variants, from black tea and green tea to rooibos, and combines them with fruit or blossom flavours.

Especially for the Middle Eastern market, WILD introduced a new generation of energy drinks. Energy plus juice, combines the flavour of a traditional energy drink with a juice content ranging up to 30 per cent. Extracts from green coffee beans and guarana supply the energy kick and, like the caffeine, the flavours and colours also come from natural sources.

WILD's worldwide capabilities range from flavours to colours; from production of semi-finished ingredient preparations to output of the most sophisticated beverage-packaging equipment.
