With two models available, the PCR8 has all the attributes of its predecessor, the PCR6. This includes automatically timed UV light for sterilising the work area, pipettes and flasks etc, removable stainless steel worksurface and better than class 100 clean air, however the primary feature of the PCR8 is that of operator protection to BSEN12469:2000.
Borrowing the technology utilised in Labcaire’s ClassII microbiological safety cabinets, and using it to provide the same levels of operator protection, enables Labcaire to offer the PCR8 without the expense of installing a full ClassII unit.
Both PCR cabinets are easy to install, ultra quiet in operation and compact in design and take up no more room than that usually used for PCR work making them a perfect addition to any site carrying out PCR work.
