The solution enables researchers to obtain deeper, more accurate insights from cellular samples
Life science manufacturing company Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched a spectral flow cytometer, Invitrogen Attune Xenith Flow Cytometer.
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to provide immunologists and other researchers with a solution that not only allows the rapid analysis of parameters, but one that will also speed up the discovery and translation of critical research findings,” said Thermo Fisher VP of flow and imaging technologies Trisha Dowling.
Invitrogen enables researchers to obtain deeper, more accurate insights from cellular samples, while automating and streamlining workflows.
With the company’s core acoustic focusing technology, Invitrogen accelerates time to results for scientists analysing cellular behaviours and mechanisms, ultimately allowing for the quicker discovery of targeted therapies.
“The Invitrogen Attune Xenith Flow Cytometer can handle a higher volume of samples quickly and efficiently, allowing scientists to analyze cells with exceptional precision,” said Dowling.
Traditional cytometers struggle with complex data analysis and frequent clogs. This wastes both time and tissue sample.
The Thermo Fisher cytometer addresses common problems with features such as:
-
High-Speed Acoustic Technology
-
Clog-Resistant Design
-
Six lasers and 51 fluorescent detectors
-
Longer Uptime without fluid changes
Invitrogen takes a broad approach, enabling both spectral unmixing and conventional flow cytometry with minimal sample volume. This helps to provide insights into how diseases such as cancer exist, manifest and progress through the body.
