CDMO Asymchem is expanding its flow chemistry capabilities at its UK facility in Sandwich.
The newly commissioned suite features several lab-scale flow equipment modules designed to enable a range of advanced continuous manufacturing processes.
Key platforms, which are now operational at the site, include plug flow reactors supporting high and low temperature applications, a heterogeneous hydrogenation platform, a biocatalysis platform for immobilised enzyme applications, a Grignard synthesis and reaction platform, and a versatile ‘plug and play’ control system.
The site now serves as an innovation hub for evaluating and advancing projects in a controlled laboratory environment, and ultimately providing customised equipment solutions for client facilities.
Asymchem’s flow equipment is designed by a dedicated engineering team and has been CE certified with the approval process completed within one month.
