Cleanroom microbiology solutions company Cherwell has launched Redipor TwistLock plate range, which improves sample security in microbial environmental monitoring.
The plates have a secure locking lid supported by TwistLock technology to protect sample integrity.
“The launch of our new locking lid Redipor TwistLock prepared media plates provides an answer to the demand for ever-increasing vigilance, and building resilient and reliable microbial EM programmes,” said Cherwell microbiology product specialist Yoggya De Silva.

The side label features a GS1 DataMatrix barcode for improved traceability, automated colony counting and integration with LIMS and electronic batch records.
The plates are designed to be user friendly, to streamline handling and reduce errors, ultimately minimising retesting.
Cherwell’s Ridipor Twistlock plates are available triple-wrapped and gamma irradiated in Petri and contact plate formats.
The plates align with GMP Annex 1 and ICH Q9 princples.
