Mobile water services by Veolia

Supporting pharmaceutical and life science industries, the technology offers services for manufacturing, cleaning and liquid waste treatment

Water service supplier Veolia Water Technologies has launched mobile water services to support pharmaceutical and life science industries.

The French company will supply these services across Europe, offering a range of technologies and services for manufacturing, cleaning and liquid waste treatment.

“Our output performance-based service optimises both the quality and quantity of treated water delivered while helping manage complex wastewater to meet production and compliance needs responsibly and without disruption,” said Veolia’s vice president of mobile business Mark Dyson.

Veolia’s units can deliver water and steam for applications compliant with European and US Pharmacopeia, FDA, cGMP and GAMP requirements.

The Orion and Ionpro multi-technology units are deployed for purified water and cold water for injection, while the Polaris is available for apyrogenic pure steam.

Complex waste streams containing solvents and active pharmaceutical ingredients can recover resources and reduce offsite waste disposal with Evaled evaporation and MPPTM liquid-to-liquid extraction technologies. This minimises the environmental impact of waste streams.

These units can be operated simultaneously or individually and are available as a short term or permanent solution. The units are made of a high percentage of recyclable and re-used materials and are designed to minimise energy consumption.
